Report

The package came just today, and since it did I couldn't wait to see how this substance works on dreams. At 23:30 I made myself a cup of grean tea and drank it all. At 00:15 I took a single pill (100 mg) of 5-HTP. Felt no effect while awake. When I went to sleep at 1:30 and closed my eyes, I noticed strenghtened hypnagogia. I'm a person that likes to imagine things when in bed, but this time it felt as if my imagination was highly enhanced. It was very clear and worked in wild, unexpected ways, I was surprised that I'm thinking about some of these things and scenes so intensely, yet under control. I managed to fall asleep.

I woke up at around 3:15, but I felt as if I was sleeping for at least 4-5 hours. Right after waking up I had an intense stream of thoughts, much stronger than before. I guess I could call it a positive feeling, but I couldn't sleep because of it, so I decided to stand up and turn my computer on for a while. I drank a lot of water, vaped some mint juice from my e-cig. A thought came into my mind to ask my friends if they're still awake so I could have a reason to go outside, but none of them were available. At this moments I noticed that when I look away from the screen and into the darkness of my room, the edges of my vision were flashing. I didn't feel sleepy at all, but I could sense that my body thinks otherwise, especially the eyes. At 3:38 I started to get hungry, so I ate two slices of bread and it was enough.

I went back to sleep at 4:17. I took me a long while, I didn't feel such insomnia for years. Staying up and using my PC made it worse I think. After changing my position countless times I finally managed to fall asleep again.

I woke up at around 10. No serious side effects in the morning, I could say that I had a perfect amount of sleep, yet I doubted this feeling. I didn't remember any dreams, which was a disappointment. I didin't eat too much for breakfast - one slice of buttered bread. A very slight nausea came after eating and at the time of writing this (13:22) I feel a little bit weird, as if something is lacking.
