Talk:Kratom resin/extraction tek
This is a terrible recipe. Each step should include an explanation of what the step does chemically. "Juices of two lemons or limes" is dumb because these fruits vary so much in size and content. Get a measurement of the juice itself, and amount of substitution with "citric acid" would be a nice touch. The vinegar seems totally pointless to me, unless one didn't have any citrus. It seems this tek is based on imitating a bunch of other extraction teks. "everything but the kitchen sink" is included. I'm sure you can leave out freezing altogether, although if it increases yield the specific increase in yield should be noted. If you don't want to take the time and effort to do that, leave it in as a suggestion rather than another instruction. Isn't there a chemistry student somewhere who could edit this? As a seven year user of kratom (mostly in yoghurt smoothies, but also teas (water extraction)) "Ian Zombie" at Drugs-forum.org has the best teks I've followed. Unfortunately his instructions are for small amounts and really should be scaled up for inclusion on this wiki.
- @Cristobaldelicia: Thanks for your feedback. I'd love to have you refer people with better guides here, writing guides isn't exactly out primary target at this time. You're also more than welcome to improve these guides. --Kenan (talk) 02:54, 25 June 2018 (CEST)
