2-FA (2-fluoroamphetamine) is a stimulant drug of the amphetamine class. Its method of action is similar to that of other amphetamines in that it is dopaminergic (releases dopamine), noradrenalinergic (releases noradrenaline), as well as being a reuptake inhibitor of serotonin at higher dosages. All this means is that higher doses of 2-FA, and any other fluorinated amphetamines, have the propensity to produce a seritonergic, or emotional response.

Specific Attributes
2-FA is a typical halogenated amphetamine, as far as effects go, excluding one specific property, duration of action. 2-FA produces stimulation of the exact same length as its euphoria, approximately 4 hours. This is unusual because many amphetamines have a long duration of action, causing an extended effect profile, but this is not the case with 2-FA.
Dubious claim with bad reference
So, I noticed that this claim was made for both 2-fluorination & 4-fluorination, on the respective pages: "Studies demonstrate that 2-flourine amphetamine substitutions limit activity of the compound at the alpha-1 adrenergic receptor with an over 200-fold increased selectivity for A2 receptors over A1 receptors."
I decided to check the citation to see which one it supported, and realized that it was neither. The little bit about fluorinated norepinephrine is also pretty irrelevant in terms of SAR, so I think it was someone with a vested interest in selling these amphetamines attempting to justify the anecdotal effects / dose ceiling where applicable.
