I took my first dose of 4-AcO-DMT at about 9:30 pm. I insufflated 25mg of the substance, and sat back to enjoy the experience in the comfort of my own home. Lying on the recliner, watching Echoes Live from Pompeii by Pink Floyd, I slowly acclimated to the come up. It was a very smooth come up, free from the nausea and anxiety a lot of other experiences had given me, and soon, I realized that the keyboard on my kindle was looking three dimensional. I was typing back and forth with my fiancee while she was at work, and had switched over to the final episode of White Collar on Netflix to enjoy the peak of the high. I had some short lived CEV during long blinks and resting my eyes, but nothing was able to pull me out of the focus in the television show I was watching. It was my second time in a day watching this episode, and it seemed so significant and important the second time. The show literally seemed to jump off of the screen, and the loss in the episode and the inevitable ending led to a happy, fulfilled feeling I hadn't gotten watching it without substance. The 41 minute episode seemed to last for a good two or three hours, and afterwards, although I felt some lingering effects, I was not up anymore. I laid down on my bed, and tried to relax for the night, but I had significant trouble sleeping. I ended up playing video games until the morning, and once my fiancee came home from work, I cuddled up for the most comfortable rest I had enjoyed in years.
